Cooking can be done in a dishes made of glass, pottery, china, paper and wood, and can also be served in them.

Foods like meat or chicken may take longer to cook than food
such as bread, cakes and puddings.

Small amounts of food takes less time to cook then larger
quantities. Small pieces of meat, chicken or vegetables is cooked faster  then larger ones.

Ingredients like cheese, eggs, cream, condensed milk over-cook very quickly therefore they can toughen or curdle.

Cover food with cing film while cooking as it retains steam & moisture.

Do not add salt to meat until it is cooked as salt may toughen it.

Adjust cooking time to suit your taste. As some people like food crisp, other prefer it soft.

Dishes cooked in a microwave restore their nutrients and food retains its   natural colour.

Popcorns can be prepared in microwaves in special packages.
